Brief Biography
Born in Romania, PhD (Physics-Biophysics) of the University of Bucharest, Dr. Iacobas immigrated in USA in 2001, being appointed by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) from New York as a Visiting Associated Professor, now Assistant Professor of Neuroscience. He has extensive expertise in genomics studies as well as in mathematical modeling of intercellular communication. Prior of being appointed by AECOM, Dr. Iacobas was Associated Professor and Head of the Division of Biophysics and Biomathematics of the Ovidius University at Constanta, Romania.
